Product Details

This heavyweight Chino is something really special the design itself is heavily based on Japanese vintage work pants of the 1960s and uses a neppy 15oz Otokogi selvedge denim, a signature creation of the brand that ensure that this piece will outlast any fickle fashion trends. Made from 100% Texas cotton, this denim is woven with a slubby #6 cotton thread, retaining traces of cotton waste for a uniquely rugged appearance. The vintage looms are pushed to their limits in the creation of these pants, resulting in a rough-hewn texture that denim enthusiasts adore, and promising those coveted high-contrast fades over time.

This cut has an impressively roomy wide-leg and a high rise. These aren’t for those who fear a draft around their legs. But if a vintage-y workwear look, an off-the-beaten-path silhouette, or simply room to move appeals, we’d recommend giving these pants a good look.

This Samurai chino runs slightly larger than other jeans from the brand. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size.

Samurai jeans have become a legend in the Japanese denim scene. Created in Osaka by Toru Nogami in 1997, Samurai represents the perfection of Japanese tradition, with its iconography of Sengoku-era Samurais and the search for the best and nothing but the best through materials, artisan garment-making techniques and unique detailing.
